So here are the major things in my life right now:
1) The Speech Tournament is over! YAH! I didn’t break, but it’s my first year so I don’t mind!
2) Triss(ca) and Nicky have mated.
3) Winter break for TPS
Now I shall elobrate on these all in turn.
The Speech tournament:
I did dramatic and expository. The judges really weren’t very literate for the most part and only placed speeches high if they were funny. My speeches weren’t funny hence, I didn’t break. I know I’m doing sour grapes but really this is what happens!
Triss and Nicky mated:
This was very weird. Nicky = my friend’s rabbit
Triss = my rabbit
Nicky= male
Triss = female
When we first got the two together Nicky liked Triss, but Triss didn’t like Nicky. We watched them for an hour Valentines’s Day but no progress. This Monday we got together again and Triss loved him. Very weird. Anyhow, Triss is due to have babies on March 22 so we will see how that goes.
Winter break:
What more can I say? Not much other schooling besides that so I’m just relaxing this week.
Sorry to bore y’all some more! ttyl

Congratulations to Triss! And Congratulations on your first speech tournament. The dramatic finalists were almost all tear-jerkers. Ah well.
Kinda a strange question, but how do you know that she’s actually pregnant? Is there a way to tell? Do they sell at-home bunny pregnancy tests? ;o) I’ve never mated animals, so I was just curious if mating will always result in pregnancy? Was she in heat? Sorry for the questions, but I’m just really curious about it. Maybe someday I’ll try to breed puppies (if Andrew lets me… we want to get a goldie sooner or later!!!!)

To Peter:
Yeah, dramatics were pretty tear-welling mine wasn’t! It was just dramatic!
To Sarah:
There are several ways to test for pregnancy:
1) Feel for “marbles” in her abdomen (two to three days after mating)
2) Notice if she gets grumpy (this is subjective and not necessarily consistent)
3) Notice if she starts making a nest( this could happen anywhere between a week to a few hours before the babies are born)
4) Put her back with the buck she will refuse to be mounted by him again.
Of all of these the first and the last are the best.
I hope you get a goldie they’re very good dogs!
Hey Alison. That is SO cool!! I can’t wait to hear about them. You SO have to tell me everything!!

When is she due? (Triss, I mean)
Alison,
I updated my blog!

So, are there any little baby bunnies taking over the Flanagan house yet???
To Rose, I know! I gave a lot of comments!
To Sarah, as you can probably see from my very recent post…not yet!
