This morning, Alison found Trissy dead in her cage.
I know that she passed away during the night. She was having problems eating, and no matter
what we gave her, she just didn’t get better. Thankfully, she wasn’t in pain and enjoyed life,
right up until the end.
I’ll miss my daughter an awful lot.
She was a gorgeous black rabbit who blessed everyone’s lives that she touched. All of her kits
made people happy. And we’re glad that we kept one of them so that we pass on her sweet
nature.
I had to remind Alison that we’ll see her later, in heaven, because she forgot.
Her empty cage will remain empty for a long time, thankfully, we know that whatever she had
hasn’t been passed on to any of us other rabbits, we’re still eating strong.
She’ll always be remembered. <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
