Which one is better?
It certainly depends on what you’re using it for.
Mom is best used if you want to be sarcastic or very very nice.
Otherewise, mum is the best.

i think i may have the courage to say… i have spring break…. but please… don’t hunt me down and kill me….
I do not have Spring break. But I do not want those who do have it to die. I like them too much.
