I wandered a path that was dark and unlit
Where shadows reveal what the light cannot show
The rain falls like fire and burns at my skin
Now this is the place where the black roses grow
I pass charcoal trees that chip in the wind
And a midnight black cat that wanders my way
The whistling wind howls like Death
The black roses bloom here they say
Hollow reeds rattle like bones on the shore
The shadows, they dance, like grim skulls
The rain keeps on pouring and drenches
It waters black roses in rows
The black skies above gives me comfort below
No longer a mask I assume
My thoughts are my own and belong just to me
This is the place where the black roses bloom
