Anyhoo, my dream started quite an interesting storyline so I’ll post a bit. Random and creepy and odd but interesting . . . at least to me. Anyhoo:
The thunderstorm above raged on, a protective growling guardian against the lighter things in life I didn’t dare face. The ground beneath my bubbled and swelled, stewing from the heat of a underground volcano. the hiss that sounded when my feet touched the earth signified that my flesh was being burned, but my legs had grown use to the constant pain, the only indication I had of something being wrong was the acrid smell that wafted up to me from below.
The smell reminded me of blood. Of pain. Of battle. The things I was most accustomed to in life. While many people spent their time following their goals, eating, working out and dealing with problems in their life that seemed huge, I had always had the same calling, pain.
To be what I am is pain. You cannot live as I live without every part of your body numbed to it, without your mind’s defenses that protect it from any attack. You cannot be what I am without seeing things that make you want to scream in the darkness and hide in the light. You simply cannot be me.

The boy was still there, watching me, his head still cocked although he had moved his arm back down. Now he just stared, a sardonic grin placed firmly over his thin, cracked lips. I glared at him,
“What is it you want?”
Slowly, the boy raised his arm again, and placed one finger firmly over his lips,
“Sssh.” he murmured, “they’re listening.”

“It’s pretty hot now.” I said.
“Not really,” said the boy, “Besides . . . it’s all a matter of opinion.”
I glanced at his feet . . . they were charred black and had painful welts all over them.

End of the year school is bad, and I was away in England.

I’m back now though, with a light school load and hopefully a lot of writing in my summer!

Here’s a poem I wrote on the plane ride back from London:

Forgotten marker of a life,

Worn with age, marked with strife,

What tale lies hidden underneath?

Who’s love was shown here by this wreath?

70 years of living, here,

Are preserved now like a mirror,

In which we gaze into your past

And find out when you breathed your last

Your whole life summed up in three letters,

“Here in lies,” the words like fetters

Bind your tale, trap your being

I can only guess now, what you’ve seen.

Forgotten marker of a life,

worn with age, marked with strife,

What tale lies hidden underneath?

What body trapped here, in this sheath?

So let’s start with the new bunnies.

I picked up three lionheads this morning.

A Blue Eyed White Single Maned Doe

A Black and White BEW Single Maned Doe

and a Chesnut and white BEW double maned buck

They’re only 8ish weeks old! And so adorable! No pics because no camera

Then, we see that there was some rabbit for only $20 (Nd’s) most rabbits cost at $40 even for pets so we checked them out.  Not like we were buying or something.

Well, they were siamese sables. That sealed it. Although I love siamese sables I already have two does so I don’t need anymore.

Then I saw a $15 black otter buck. He was huge! and a junior. Not what  I needed. I wanted a show quality rabbit. But after talking to the owner and finding out that he weights less than a pound and a half I bought him.

That’s not him, but that’s what he looks like.

So we brought the four rabbits home. (Four rabbits for $145 that’s a good deal) and set them up. Then I finished up my english and started writing this post.

Currently I have these bunnies:

2 – Tinkerbelle - siamese sable – doe – ND

3 – Wish - siamese smoke pearl – doe - ND

4 – Whisper – black - doe – ND

5 – Cap’in Hook - black otter – buck - ND

6 – Wendy – Black VM – doe – LH

7 – Tigerlily – BEW – doe – LH

8 – Smee - Chesnut Vm – buck – LH

Rabbits in nestbox/for sale:

9 – Kelly – Siamese Sable – doe - ND

10 – Yin – Blue Himilayian – ?? – ND

11 – Yang – Black – ?? – ND

Rabbits I’m getting . . .

12 – Peter Pan – broken tort – ND

That’s 12 rabbits!

Hopefully three of those will go, but then I want to keep a blue otter whenever I get it.

At the end of the Summer Whisper will be sold and I’ll keep a kit from her (or Wish) to replace it. (Hopefully a blue otter!)

That’s a lot of rabbits for me!

Now I’d better run! I have to hurry and finish up my day with more bunnies stuff!

Cage cleanings, emails to write, nails to clip, bunnies to groom, etc etc etc!

I decided not to get Icey considering he was $75. :P I’ll save that for when Rose visits ;)

Litters?

Considering my latest litter was in October, yeah, I’m really excited about the two litters due on the 26th. :)

Kelly and Whisper are due that day.

Wish will probably be mated later today or sometime this upcoming week.

I redid the barn a bit making it so much easier to feed all the bunnies. :)

Other stuff new . . .

I went to this Share-the-fun competition last night (Saturday) and sang, ”Wouldn’t it be loverly?” with Karen playing the panio for me.

We had a blast and got the ”best act in show” or something award. fun fun. I would have prefered it if there was

money involved, but that’s fine. Later, I might have a memorial to Karen here because of all the crazy stuff she

VOLUNTEERED to do. ;)

I have a speech tournament this week *sighs* and lots of school. (big surprise there!)

not much else though.

So now, you get to read about my health.

I’ve had fever almost every day for the past few weeks. Headache, back pain and grumpiness.

Yes, feel terrible and sympathize with me. ;)

Haha, but of course, I just remembered several things I need to do.

Five new rabbits will join the rabbitry in the next two weeks (hopefully).

The first two:

Flopsy and Mopsy two dutch mixes that I’ll be rehoming. They’re coming to us on Saturday

(I think)

Then . . .

Two does from Endless Summer Rabbitry will come. A black (like Triss :’( ) and a siamese smoke pearl.

Also, a REW show buck named Icey, that I’ve been wanting for AGES!

AND AND AND maybe, just maybe, a broken orange doe (that I’ve also been wanting for ages)

but her owner never responses :P

Yeah, if you’ve noticed the past six or something posts have been all about rabbits.

Sorry about that.

If you’re lucky you’ll get an update about my amazing, exciting, wonderful, talented, enjoyable

life next time. ;)

I didn’t get an ”easter bunny” but I got that new little neice on Friday which is just as good.

She’s adorable!!

When to a rabbit show this morning and Gunsmoke placed second in his variety. I was

content because he’s out of condition. Same for Kelly.

I keep putting of breeding Kelly, don’t know why.

I caught up with Waverly, Kelly’s full sister. She’s turned into a GOREGOUS blue himi doe.

I wish I had kept her :P

Got a new little neice of Friday. Welcome Sophia Flanagan!

Been hanging out with her big brother a lot because of that and he loves helping me play

scrabble.

There’s more but I’m feeling sick again so I’ll just let you imagine all the amazing things I’ve

been doing ;)

I’m debating in my head wether or not to move the rabbits back to the outdoor hutches.

If this weather keeps up, they’re leaving because I have some major work to do on the shed:

setting up new cages

putting in windows

painting

decorating

getting my records straight

I’m also headed off to a rabbit show this Saturday where I hope to pick up two or three

rabbits. Yes, I do need them. ;)

I’m also desperate because some of the other shows I intended to buy from I can no longer

go to because of singing. :P silly singing, maybe I won’t do it next year

I found this adorable little sign which I must have because as most of you know my rabbitry name is “Ali’s Bunny Crossing” plus it would look so good on the shed

I’ve been exteremly low on energy lately which is a bummer because I have so many plans

I get a fever every night and turn in Scrooge and just sit in my room and read fun books.

Anyhoo, I need to be off and do school and chores while I still have the energy!
